NFL COMPARISON: BO Jackson

Darren Mcfadden is such a special talent that I could not really compare him to anyone today. He still is not that close to Bo Jackson because he is taller than most runningbacks today including Bo, but I will compare his overall speed and breakaway speed to Bo Jackson. Mcfadden is head and shoulders above every Runningback in the draft and if it wasn't for the Dolphins picking #1 he would be the First pick in the 2008 NFL DRAFT. I predict he will be gone by pick 3, just for the fact that I do not think that more than 3 teams can justify passing him up..

2. Matt Ryan ,QB, Boston College

NFL COMPARISON: Derek Anderson

Matt Ryan has had a much more publisized career than Derek Anderson, but I feel there styles are very similiar and in the right offense Ryan will be just as succesful as Anderson has been in the Browns Offense. Matt Ryan will be a top 5 Pick in the 2008 NFL DRAFT, at this time It looks as the Falcons will be the highest picking team needing a QB and they will have to choose Matt Ryan and Andre Woodson to choose from, each players Pro day could vault either of them of the other one in the draft..

3. Andre Woodson, QB, Kentucky

NFL COMPARISON: Carson Palmer

Andre Woodsons stock in the 2008 NFL has dropped in most peoples eyes, but I still rate him as a top 5 draft pick and the 2nd best QB in the draft. Woodson has all the tools to be a good NFL QB and will grade out high when he does his pre-draft workouts.

4. Glenn Dorsey, DT, LSU

NFL COMPARISON: Warren Sapp

Glenn Dorsey is most definately the top Defensive player in the 2008 NFL Draft. He is similiar in the style of Warren Sapp that he may not be the biggest Densive lineman out there but with great technique and a motor that does not stop he makes play after play after play. He could go anywhere in the top 5, but look for him to maybe go #1 overall depending on who gets the pick, but he could end up with the Dolphins who right now still have not won a game and will most likely get the 1st overall pick in the draft..

5. Jake Long, T, Michigan

NFL COMPARISON: Willie Anderson

Jake Long will be a solid top 5 pick in the 2008 NFL DRAFT. Long much like Willie Anderson will anchor an NFL offensive line and be a solid starter for years to come. Long will be the top Offensive lineman in the 2008 Draft and was graded as a first rounder for the 2007 draft, but chose to return for his Senior season.

6.Calais Campbell, DE, Miami

NFL COMPARISON: Gaines Adams

Calais Campbell is big, athletic and very quick just like Gaines Adams in last years draft. He will make an immediate impact as a pass rusher in the NFL. He has the talent teams covet with the size to go along with it. I expect him to go in the 6 to 12 range int he 2008 NFL DRAFT.

7. Sam Baker, T/G, USC

Sam Baker is a strong atheletic Offensive Lineman. Baker will most likely be converted to a Guard at the NFL level but has been an outstanding tackle at the college level. He will be a top 8 NFL pick and the 2nd lineman taken in the draft behind Jake Long.

Kenny Phillips is a fantastic athlete playing the Safety position. Just like like former Miami Safety Ed Reed he will also be a solid pro with good instincts and the size and strength to handle the NFL game. Jackson has the return ability to make him a valuable pick just on the special teams side of the ball. His playmaking ability at WR is what is going to make him a top 10 pick. NFL teams are always looking for a game breaker and DeSean Jackson has what it takes to make the big plays when it counts..

10. Quentin Groves,DE/LB, Auburn

NFL COMPARISON: Terrell Suggs

Like Suggs, Groves has the speed and ability to stand up and play the Outside Linebacker position. I think this position will fit his size and speed the best in the NFL. He can play with his hand down in the DE position but will have to improve his overall game and become more than just a pass rusher and average run defender. He will be a solid top 10 to 15 pick.

11. Brian Brohm, QB, Louisville

Brohm has been a solid Quarterback during his career at Louisville and was a top prospect coming out of Highschool aswell. Any team looking for a Franchise Quarterback will not be dissapointed if they pick Brian Brohm. He has put up big numbers at every level and he could be picked anywhere in the top 15 picks with it being a wide open draft this year.

12. Derrick Harvey, DE, Florida

Harvey is a solid end with good pass rushing skills and he is also disciplined enough to play the run. He will be a starter for 10 years in the NFL, but never a super star in my eyes. Could drop all the way into the early 20's depending on team needs.

Chris Long is a Solid DE with great speed for his size off the edge. He is of course the Son of former Pro Football Player Howie Long so he definately has the pedigree to make him a great NFL player. He could go anywhere from picks 6 to 13 depending on team needs.

14. Malcolm Kelly, WR, Oklahoma

Kelly is a big Receiver with great playmaking ability. He is a fluid receiver with good route running skills. At 6'4 215 he will be a strong go to guy for any team that chooses him in the 10 to 15 range in the first round..

15. Steve Slaton, RB, West Virginia

Slaton is a smallish RB with Speed to burn. He and Pat White have led this West Virginia team the last few years with a great running attack. I think he will be a great compliment to a bigger Running Back for some lucky NFL team. He could go anywhere in the first round after Mcfadden depending on team needs. He or Jonathan Stewart will be the 2nd Back taken in the draft.

Justin King has burst onto the draft seen lately, I think he will go around the mid to late first depending on team needs, but athletically he compares to the best in this draft. He has been timed at sub 4.4 in the forty yard dash and has been a solid lock down corner this season.

If 17 teams pass on the talent Early Doucet they will be kicking themselves. He is going to make plays and be a differance maker in the passing game. Also coming out of a system like the one they use at LSU he should be a solid blocker in the running game.

Mario is a soild play making receiver. He has been consistent this year catching over 5 balls in all but 2 games this year. He also has 7 Touchdown receptions in the last 4 games and will be a good addition to a team looking to bolster there passing attack.

Stewart is a Medium Sized back with good speed and quickness. He runs well out of the spread that Oregon Runs, but I can seem him as a good back in just about any system. He will be a solid first round pick and will be able to carry the load as a an every down back..

Okam is a big guy with big upside. He could be the best player on the field on any given play and no where to be seen on the next play. I think he will be a solid pick at this point in the first round to help a struggling defensive line. He will get a lot of PT as a Rookie. His athletic ability and size will make up for what he does not know as a young player..

22. Michael Oher, G/OT, Ole Miss

Similar to Ben Grubbs in last years draft, he is a solid lineman that will make someone a very good pick. He is a little more versatile than Grubbs in that he can also play the Tackle position, depending on team needs.

23. DeJuan Tribble, CB, Boston College

Tribble is a very Athletic, but smallish shutdown type corner. He has a nose for the ball and knows how to take it to the house once he picks it off. He can also contribute on special teams as a returner.

Ellis a smallish DT with good quickness. He is strong enough and quick enough to make up for his size. He is a motor guy that is always around the ball. He was an All American in 2006 and big things are expected from him in 2007.

Big Linkebacker that just flat out makes plays. He has a nose for the ball getting tackles, interceptions, forcing fumbles to help lead a good USC defense. He is only a Junior, but looks to go in the 1st round if he comes out this year.

Talib is a physical corner with good size and strenght. Listed at 6'2 he will be a valuable addition to many NFL teams that are hungary for defense with so many pass happy offenses in the NFL.
He will be a steal at this point in the first round.

Laurinitis is a tough linebacker that has a nose for the ball. He is out of the mold of a Keith Brooking that is just a good tackler and also has had his share of interceptions in pass coverage. Towards the end of the first round, he will be a good value pick.

Solid reveiver with a big body. Should be a good pick up towards the end of round 1 for someone looking for a playmaker. Seems to always make the big play, with many TD catches of over 30 yards in the 2006 season.

Sweed is a big receiver that is a big time college receiver. He lacks the speed to be a top 10 pick, but still is solid enough and has great size and hands to help him jump into the end of the 1st Round. If he timed out at a 4.4 or below in the forty yard dash we would be speaking of him similiar to what we did last year with Calvin Johnson out of Georgia Tech.

Player Info: Hart is not a big running back, but is very strong and knows how to hit the holes, we compare him to the Bucanners Carnell "Caddillac" Williams for this reason. We fill like he will be a steal if he falls out of the first round of the 2008 NFL DRAFT.
